This is an initiative to contribute in documenting the truth in post truth scenario. We are a website that exposes the fake news through checking the facts in a transparent manner. Our aim is to free the society from the dangers of biasness, deception and confusion in news.

2. Commitment to Transparency of the source- we put all the facts and source before the readers so that they could themselves verify the claims

Commitment Organizational and funding transparency – In order to ensure the transparency and nonpartisanship on our content we do not accept any funds in form of advertisements from corporate houses, political parties and governments . We solely depend on donations and subscription to meet the expenditure and we will appeal for the same once we are legally registered as process is on to be certified. The background of all the key members and legal status of our organization will be properly showcased very soon.
4. Transparent methodology- The way we fact check the claims are properly presented before the readers. We also invite our readers to send the stories which they find doubtful and confusing. The process of fact checking starts from selection of the claim, research of the selected claim, source to verify the facts, writing the fact check story, and also open to corrections of the fact checked claims after publishing it.

Selection of the claim- we scan facebook,twitter ,other social sites, tv, statements and speeches of political leaders to select the claims. Apart from that we closely monitor hash tags , what is trending on google, whatsapp forwards etc for the purpose. To shortlist the claims we consider following parameters
1. What is being most shared, viewed or retweeted?
2. Determining the readers interest
3. News value
4. Religious hatred
5. Nature of the claim
6. What impacts the people greatly
Research- once the selection of the topic is done, the process of research to find the truth starts.
1. Attempt to contact the source of the claim for supporting information
2. Contact the experts of the subject
3. Search the internet to determine the source of viral claims
4. Use different tools such as google reverse image search, you tube jeo search and video editing software to check the veracity of an image or video
5. In case of a intentionally edited clip of video we need to search the complete video through you tube by determining the place, date and time
Source to verify facts- we emphasizes primary sources and original documents. We seek direct assessment to government’s reports, academic studies. We can site the reports of reputed media organizations and also establish contact with govt officials in case of verifying the facts of any incident. In cases where we have contacted individuals or organizations by e-mail or telephone for comment, that information is noted within the text of articles and is not usually listed separately in the Sources section.
Story writing- After verifying the facts of the claim we start writing the fact checked story. We document the truth through evidence and facts and keep it simple and straight. We put the methodology in the story and refrain from being judgemental. We provide every link of source to the readers so that they could check the facts on their own.
Correction policy- we are heartily open to correct the errors and no hesitation in giving clarification for the same. Our readers are always welcome to submit corrections if they find in our reports through a process. It will be evaluated by a committee and then processed.
